After hearing so much about a potential No. 5 seeding, or a 4/13 matchup with Iona, I was definitely pleased with the draw Virginia got on Selection Sunday. Furman is good, don’t get me wrong, but it was the lesser of two evils. I think most Wahoo fans would take Furman over playing Oral Roberts, which is who Duke found themselves matched up with as the 5 seed in the same region as UVA.

So with all that on my mind, and about 10 brackets already filled out, I hit up Bennett Conlin, the former Virginia sports beat writer at the Daily Progress, and we talked about March Madness for 20 minutes.
