Best Defensive Effort of the Season Lifts Hoos Over Pack Reaction Pod

UVA topped the Wolfpack at JPJ.

The Wahoos had their best defensive effort of the season last night, topping former UVA guard Casey Morsell and NC State 63-50 at JPJ. It was Virginia’s fewest points allowed all season against a conference opponent, and they held the Wolfpack to just 33.3 percent shooting from the field. Additionally, Morsell fouled out — much to the delight of the UVA crowd — and the Hoos didn’t allow a single bench point from their opponent.

Next up, Virginia has a chance to sweep the state of North Carolina by beating Duke. They have already beat Wake, UNC, and now NC State. Next up, Dukies!
